Since almost 20 years I work in interior design industry. In 2005 I started working for a kitchen company, a perfect match with my background as a trained joiner with a commercial and a specialized furniture design training. For more than nine years I worked in Cape Town, South Africa, designing, selling and project managing for residential as well as project clients. And since 2019 I am doing the same here in Oldenburg.
With the years of experience, I have developed a way of getting to the perfect result: On the first meeting we discuss all the important parts of your new kitchen – how it should look like, what appliances you like and the budget. As I am working with a small network of specialized craftsmen, we can also incorporate locally manufactured items to make your kitchen even more special.
After I finished the initial design, we will meet again. You can make changes in order to get to your perfect kitchen. Sometimes it needs a couple more meetings to get to the best result – it’s all up to you, we have all the time you need. During the last meeting we will finalise the deal and close the contract. From now on I will start organising all the bits and pieces to get your dream kitchen installed, correctly and in time, while you might take care of building-related alterations which we discuss in detail during the design process. I will also visit a couple times to make sure that everything is prepared correctly.
I work with two kitchen German kitchen manufacturer – nobilia and Rotpunkt. nobilia builds intelligently engineered kitchens with excellent design and for every taste. Their focus is always on: Quality. In the planning department. In the production department. In the processing and customer service departments. The goal is to provide every customer with exactly the kitchen they want. As unique as the people living in them.
When you buy a Rotpunkt kitchen, not only design, functionality and quality play a central role, but also the aspect of sustainability. You can be sure that you are making a valuable contribution to climate protection - because their products are always manufactured in a climate-neutral way. Other than using “greenline BioBoard Gen2” chipboard which is made of recycled wood, they constantly work on improving their processes and technology in order to reduce waste.
The appliances will be supplied by Neff, Bosch and Berbel (extractors). These suppliers offer a big variety of appliances, with regards to price as well as functions, there is a lot to choose from. All three suppliers are based in Germany, knowing what the market wants and needs. We can combine all three if you want or stay with one brand – whatever you prefer.
